Announcement from the Ministry of Justice:
For repeated malicious attacks on members of the Discord server,
For vicious and sustained insults on fellow comrades,
For issuing death threats to members of the region,
For ignoring all warnings to moderate her behavior,
For using our forgiveness as a weapon, immediately resuming the argument for which she was initially removed,
For uncomradely behavior and making the DSA a more toxic place,
With great regret, the Ministry of Justice recommends that Roshem be expelled and banned from the DSA.
This decision has nothing to do with her positions on the issues, but rather with the tone which she adopted in arguing on the Discord server. We can have (and do have) lively debates in the DSA, but that should never involve telling others to “go die”, no matter how much or how passionately you disagree with them. This is a space of solidarity, where us leftists who disagree on a few minor (and a few major) points can have friendly discussions in a spirit of camaraderie and charity. This is not a space for personal insults or hateful remarks.
