For claiming, despite the evidence, that a region cannot be both socialist and anti-fascist,
For celebrating their willful ignorance, masquerading it as “Fact”,
For shunning all good-faith attempts to educate them, refusing to offer a defense of their positions and instead offering only vitriol,
For rejoicing in their having caused a “flame war” through bad-faith name-calling and slander,
The Ministry of Justice recommends the expulsion of The Rich Union.
It’s important to note that this decision is not seeking removal based on the mere fact of disagreement, but rather based on the tone and the malicious motivations of the actor in question. It would be acceptable to make claims about how, say, the Soviet Union was mere ‘state capitalism’ and more resembled fascism. However, that conversation has to happen in the spirit of charity and truth-seeking. The ‘conversation’ in question had neither of those elements. Instead, it involved the person in question posting links to articles which cite known racists making slanderous and false statements about ‘socialism’ as a whole, and then refusing to engage with any good-natured attempts to educate them about where the articles go wrong.
