As it stands, the Minister of Domestic Affairs’ Election is ongoing and will have a seven-day primary followed by a two-day final election. These two days will be on a Monday and Tuesday to make this even worse. I, Wileyshire, as Interim Secretary-General and with the backing of cabinet make a motion to extend this election so that it too, may last seven days. Below is the current primary rules on the election:
CURRENT: “This is a primary. On closure of this poll, the first and second place of this election will face off in a final election that will begin immediately follow this election and end on 30 April, 2019 @ 11:59 PM.”
Pending a supermajority “Yay” vote, I would like it to change to the below text.
PENDING:“This is a primary. On closure of this poll, the first and second place of this election will face off in a final election that will begin immediately follow this election and end on 6 May, 2019 @ 12 AM. The winner of the primary who leads with the most votes will be acting MoDA from 1 May through 5 May. If they lose the final election, they will give their position up to the winning MoDA on 6 May. If they win, they will continue to hold the MoDA position.”
This emergency referendum has been authorized by cabinet and will take place, ending with the finish of all other cabinet elections on 29 April @ 12 AM UTC.
Above text is also available in attached Referendum.docx (12.78 KB) file. MoDA election may be found here.
