Chapter I: General Provisions

I - This act may be cited as the "DoCA Act".

II - This Act shall come into force upon its passage.


Chapter II: Charter Amendment I

I - 'Subsection 2.2.12 - The Department of Creativity and Art' shall be added to the charter with every subsequent subsections being moved accordingly.


Chapter III: Charter Amendment II

I - The parts in the quote shall be added to Subsection 2.2.12 - The Department of Creativity and Art

1. The Director of Creativity and Art shall be appointed by and serve at the

discretion of the Minister of Domestic Affairs.


2. The Director of Creativity and Art shall have the responsibility of stimulating the creation and discussion of creativity and art in the DSA

3. The authortiy of the Director of Creativity extends but is not limited to: Overseeing the Design Studios, Music Studios and Writing Studios on the forum and stimulating 'contests and projects' and general activity in these Studios, Overseeing anything that has to do with art and or creativity either on NationStates and the discord aslong as it falls under the authority of the Ministry of Domestic Affairs.

The department of creativity and art act aims to create the department or creativity and art, I do think there's merit in Student's idea to change the creation of new departments from the charter to normal legislation, but this is the only way to create new departments as of now.

As Minister of Domestic Affairs I do think there's alot of merit in creating this department, I have worked alot on creativity and art the last cabinet term and I do feel that with how the MoDA and the region currently stands it needs more focus to be brought to it's full potential, as MoDA themselves both me and venovica would gladly continue working on this ourselves, but to have a talented person like say Cuscatlan (or someone else) be the director in charge of this so that it gets exlusive focus by someone would be a big big help.
