Chapter I: General Provisions
I - This act may be cited as the Department Guidelines Act
II - This act shall come into force upon it’s passage
Chapter II: Amendment I
I - 'Section 1.2 - Office of the World Assembly Delegate' and it's subsections shall be removed from 'Executive Appointments'.
II - ‘Section 1.3 - The Ministry of Domestic Affairs’ and it's subsections shall be removed from 'Executive Appointments'.
III - 'Article 1 - Department Directors' shall be renamed to 'Article 1 - Departments and Department Directors' in 'Executive Appointments'.
IV - 'Section 1.2 - Departments' shall be added to 'Executive Appointments'.
V - 'Subsection 1.2.1 - Guidelines' shalled be added to 'Executive Appointments'.
VI - 'Section 1.4 - The Ministry of Role Play' and it's subsections shall be removed from 'Executive Appointments'.
Chapter III: Amendment II
I - The parts in the quote shall be added to Subsection 1.2.1 - Guidelines.
Chapter IV: Amendment III
I - The parts in bold shall be removed from Subsection 1.1.1 - Qualifications and Guidelines.

1. Departments shall be created through a Cabinet vote.
2. Any Members of Congress may write a document detailing the introduction of a Department and it's functions or the abolishment of a Department, and present this to the Cabinet.
3. The Secretary-General is mandated to document DSA Departments and their functions in a manner which is fully transparent to Congress.

Chapter IV: Amendment III
I - The parts in bold shall be removed from Subsection 1.1.1 - Qualifications and Guidelines.
1. Any Member of Congress may apply to become the Director of a Department,
and they shall do so by contacting the Cabinet Member in charge of the given
Department. The Cabinet Member in charge of that department reserves the
right to approve or reject any applicant.
2. The Director of a Department must follow all of the conditions and functions
of their position pursuant to this Charter and passed legislation.
3. All Directors shall have the right to resign from their respective positions, but
they are encouraged to notify their appointing Cabinet Member of their
decision to do so.
4. Any director that has been inactive for over fourteen (14) days without giving
prior notice and has not carried out any of their duties during that time shall
be immediately removed from office.
