Chapter 1: Updating Special Elections
The following point in Subsection 1.2.1 of the Rules and Procedures:
3. If a Cabinet or High Judge position is vacated for any reason, the President shall either take up the role or have the Secretary-General hold a special election for the position. While the special election is taking place, the President must either take up the role until the election is complete or appoint an interim minister within 2 days of the position being vacated.

If a Cabinet or High Judge position is vacated for any reason, the Returning Officer shall hold a special election for the position in accordance to the timing and procedures laid out in Subsection 1.2.4 of this document. While the special election is taking place, the President must appoint an interim minister within 2 days of the position being vacated. If the special election is for a Cabinet position and the President is unable to find an interim minister, the President may take up the role until the election is complete.
