The following is inserted as Art. II, Sec. II, Sub. XV, "Department Directors":
Article II, Section II, Subsection XV: Department Directors
Clause I. Any Member of Congress may apply to become the Director of a Department, and he or she shall do so by contacting the Cabinet Member in charge of the given Department. The Cabinet Member in charge of that department reserves the right to approve or reject any applicant.
Clause II. The Director of a Department must follow all of the conditions and functions of his or her position as described in either the Charter of the Assembly or the “Conditions of Passed Legislation” forum thread.
Clause III. All Directors shall have the right to resign from their respective positions, but they are encouraged to notify their appointing Cabinet Member of their decision to do so.
Clause IV. Directors that fail to uphold their duties as described throughout this section shall be subject to disciplinary measures as described in Article III, Section II, but they shall not be removed as Members of Congress if they still abide by all of the Rules of the Charter or the DSA Regional Principles
Clause V. Any director that has been inactive for over fourteen (14) days and has not carried out any of his or her duties during that time shall be immediately removed from office.
