An Act to reorganize the duties of the Minister of Immigration and Regional Promotion
Acknowledging the need for a recruitment program to bolster the DSA population;
Recognizing the great successes of the automatic recruitment program currently in place;
Also recognizing that these success have been accomplished independently of the Minister of Immigration and Regional Promotion;
Furthermore noting the important role of an immigration office within the DSA;
Hereby accomplishes the following:
This bill will strike null and void Subsection 2.2.10 “The Minister of Immigration and Regional Promotion”
1. The Minister of Immigration & Regional Promotion shall be charged with
growing the population of the DSA and promoting extra-regional awareness of
DSA Regional Principles, the DSA, and its culture.
2. The Minister of Immigration & Regional Promotion’s authority and duties
include but are not limited to:
3. The Minister of Immigration & Regional Promotion may actively or passively
recruit foreign nations, using various manual or automatic communication
mechanisms available to the Minister of Immigration & Regional Promotion at
the time.
4. Should the Minister of Immigration & Regional Promotion elect to send
automated recruitment telegrams, they will endeavor to secure the use of a
back-up computer, which may belong to any Resident, to be used in case the
principal recruitment computer is unavailable.
5. The Minister of Immigration & Regional Promotion shall respect and uphold
all treaties and inter-regional agreements that have been ratified by the DSA
as they relate to recruiting activities.
This bill will add Clause 10 to Subsection 2.2.2
This bill will add Subsection 2.2.10 “The Director of Immigration”
Upon passage, this bill shall come into full force of law on 1 November 2018 at 00:00 GMT

10. The Cabinet shall be responsible for actively or passively recruiting foreign nations into the DSA in compliance with all interregional treaties and the Nationstates Terms and Conditions.
This bill will add Subsection 2.2.10 “The Director of Immigration”
The Director of Immigration shall be appointed by and serve at the discretion of the Minister of Domestic Affairs.
The Director of Immigration shall be charged with ensuring the growing population of the DSA is well informed about the culture of the DSA, as well as its Regional Principles.
The Director of Immigration shall, with the assistance of the Minister of Domestic Affairs, compose a welcome telegram which best informs incoming members of the DSA.
The Director of Immigration shall be responsible for assisting the Cabinet in all matters related to welcoming new Residents.
The Director of Immigration shall be charged with ensuring the growing population of the DSA is well informed about the culture of the DSA, as well as its Regional Principles.
