On the Old DSA Forums, there was a folder called "La Sagezza", which was a folder where people could post tips and such for RP and how to develop or write it, all done in the context of a university. The name was later incorporated into the DSA Capital Maps where La Sagezza University is the main university of the city state of the DSA Capital, of which I made into an actual thing through this link
What is this award? It is an award that will be given to the biggest contributor to DSA RP for the last 3 months, this one being the 35th Cabinet (May through July). What does "biggest contributor" mean? It could mean anything; most RP in general, most RP interactions, most assistance in developing RP, anything that you consider as major contributions to the DSA RP community during the last 3 months.
The award grants the winner the ceremonial role of being Dean of La Sagezza University in RP. This is my way of allowing the RP community to acknowledge and celebrate those who truly make our RP community better.
Only those who are currently residents are eligible for this award. Due to the unfairness of it, the Minister of Role-Play for the 35th Cabinet (United Syndicates of Sol) is ineligible for this award because RP is their job. This is an award recognizing the people, not the government. You can either nominate yourself or others and these nominations do not need to be confirmed by those who are nominated.
Nominations are from July 20th to July 25th. Elections are from July 25th to July 30th
If there are 3-4 candidates, we will do a Single-Transferable Vote. If there are 4 or more candidates, we will have so that, if candidate does no get over 50% of the vote when voting ends, we will do a run-off election of the top 2 candidates.
Also to note, this is only an award and the winner does not have to do anything when they win it. Although I do encourage them to engage with the title in RP.
