The Seventeenth Amendment to the Charter of the Democratic Socialist Assembly Author(s): Laevendell Co-Signer(s): N/A Date Enacted: 19 August 2011 Final Vote Count: 8-0-0
"There was previously little mention in our Charter of what our ambassadors responsibilities are.
This amendment aimed to make these positions easier and give them character by defining what their role in our region is."
A new Cl. VII of Art. II, Sec. II is inserted, pushing down the previous clauses VII, VIII and IX:
Clause VII. The ambassadors shall, under the supervision of the WA Delegate, manage any foreign relations not involving the World Assembly. It shall be their duty to communicate regional policies in contacts with other regions, after deliberations with the WA Delegate. Further, the ambassadors shall coordinate recruitment of new nations and policies regarding recruitment. The ambassadors shall also be responsible for regularly welcoming new nations arriving in the DSA.
