Following the passage of the Court Act, written by Dekks, the Ministry of Justice has changed from a nebulous Judge, Jury, and Executioner of the DSA into a functional prosecutorial and investigative ministry.
In the 29th cabinet, the first cabinet to fall under the Court Act, I have tried my best to fulfill these new duties of the Ministry. I have investigated many cases of misconduct within the DSA and attempted to make the DSA a more harmonious and just place through my recommendations and investigations. I have worked closely with our High Judge, Gribelt, (who has done a fantastic job in this new role) to remove problematic members from our region as well as censure and impeach members who do not uphold our regional principles. I’ve kept a list of members who fail to meet residency requirements, and have sent telegrams and monitored their progress towards compliance.
This has been a very active term for the Ministry, as people keep telling me. I hope that there will be fewer cases requiring the attention of the Ministry in the next term, but if more action is required, I hope that you trust me to act with due deliberation and diligence to make our region a more inviting and comradely place <3
