The following is inserted as Art. III, Sec. IX - Regional Holidays:
Clause I. Any member of Congress may propose a regional holiday for the DSA to formally recognize. The process of declaring a new holiday or rescinding an existing holiday shall be in compliance with the governing standards on proposing Charter amendments and voting as established by this Charter. Specific formal regional holidays shall be documented under this section of the Charter as individual clauses. It shall be the prerogative of the ruling Cabinet at the time of any declared regional holiday as to how to best recognize that holiday on a regional or interregional level.
